My Peace Corps Experience in Mali and Burkina Faso, West Africa

The aspiration statement

I totally forgot that I had planned to post my aspiration statement once it was finished. After a lot of editing, I submitted it to the PC Mali desk last week. The aspiration statement basically requires answering a series of questions about the skills I bring to my assignment, my hopes and expectations, and my overall goals as a volunteer, as well as how I might face up to any challenges that arise in-country. (This might not be that interesting to any non-PC friends, but I definitely looked for past volunteers’ aspiration statements before writing mine, so maybe this will be helpful to other invitees…or at the very least, i’ll have it on my blog for posterity).

Click on the link and there it shall be! (Apparently, I can’t just copy and paste the entire doc into WordPress? Weird).
